I’m using GarageBand on my iPad Air 2, iOS 11. Tried to do a song in 12/8. Tried heavy swing in 4/4 (totally wrong feel), & tried 6/8, but you need two 6/8 bars to equal one 12/8 bar & using the drum sequencer...well, it doesn’t work out well. Had to have each section as one bar because the pattern wasn’t the same for all 4 beats. Lots of 1 bar sections, no thank you. Does anyone know if there’s any help on the horizon from Apple? 12/8 is pretty common when you‘re doing blues or country or a whole host of other genres.
